I found an article that Drexel University Libraries doesn't have access to. What do I do?

I have found an article that does not have a link to the full text on a webpage or pdf.  Does Drexel have access to this?  What do I do to get the article?

If you have found an article the Libraries does not have access to, follow the steps below to place a request to access the article through interlibrary loan.

  1. If you are in DragonSearch, you may see a screen like the one below with a link to "No Online Access" below the article. Click this link to open the article's catalog record. Article information with no online access
  2. You must first sign in to the library's website to see request options. See the circled link below. Article record with link to sign in
  3. Select your appropriate status and log in with your Drexel username and password.Login
  4. Once you are logged in, select "Request through InterLibrary Loan (journals & articles)."Article record with request through Interlibrary Loan
  5. From here, you will be prompted to sign into Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad).ILLiad Log on
  6. If you are a first time user, you will be prompted to fill out your registration information after logging in. See the FAQ on signing up for Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad). Otherwise, the fields should self-populate with the information about the article. Check to see that they have done so correctly. Submit                                                                    Note: First time users may need to go back to the page where they selected "Request through InterLibrary Loan" (step 4) in order to populate the fields of the request form automatically.
  7. Then click on "Submit Request." You will receive an email with instructions to download your article once it is ready. If you are wondering how quickly your article will come, see the FAQ on checking when your article is ready.
