How long can I borrow a book or DVD?

I want to borrow a book or DVD from the Libraries. How long can I keep it? Are there fines if I don’t return it on time?

LOAN PERIODS & RENEWALS

  • Loan Period: 28 days for undergraduates. Six months for faculty, grad students, and staff.
  • Renewals: Twice online. Once for faculty, grad students, and staff. Additional renewals may be made by bringing the book to the service desk or by contacting libassist@drexel.libanswers.com
  • Late fines: $1.00 per day only if requested or recalled by Drexel Libraries staff
  • Due date may be amended if the item is recalled 

DVDs & VHS (Regular Collections)

  • Loan Period: 14 days
  • Renewals: Twice online
  • Late Fine: $1.00 per day only if requested or recalled by staff
  • Due date may be amended if an item is recalled
