Answer
How to Get Access
There are 2 types of access whose names seem self-explanatory:
- Research Observer (Esploro)
- Designs Analytics (Alma and Esploro)
Requests for access can be sent to libsystems@drexel.edu and must mention which role is needed.
Training
While fields and subject areas are different for each product, the OAS interface is consistent, therefore general training for one product will work for all.
All Ex Libris (the Library systems vendor for the above products) documentation and training is open access. No logins are needed to access training resources.
Alma Analytics have been around the longest. These links contain the most detailed training
- Alma Analytics Documentation
- Alma Analytics Training
- Alma Analytics: Become an Expert - best overall introduction
- Presentations and Documents - Analytics
Esploro has less and shorter training
Additional training is available, but this is a good starter set
Examples
These only work if you have an appropriate assigned role. SSO login is required.
