What is the Timeout Period for Dragon Search?
When I search Dragon Search, how quickly will my search session time-out due to inactivity?
Answer
There are different timeout settings, depending on whether you have logged into Dragon Search or not.
- If you have not logged in, there is no timeout period set. Of course, closing your browser session will also close your search session.
- Logged in users = 30 minutes
When a session times out, the system clears all personal parameters (such as saved searches) and refreshes the page, leaving any existing search in place.
For example, if you were viewing the full details of a record when the refresh happens because of the timeout, you will be logged out, but the record details will remain on the screen.
