Publishing Open Access under the Association for Computing Machinery Agreement

Drexel University Libraries has established an agreement with the Association for Computing Machinery that provides unlimited read access to ACM journals and waives article processing charges for Drexel-affiliated authors who wish to publish open access in any ACM journals.

Answer

Process

  • Submit your article for publication to one of the research titles covered by the agreement.
    • The corresponding author designation must be made in the conference or journal submission system and the corresponding author must include their primary affiliation and use their institutional email address.
  • Once your article has been accepted for publication, you will receive an acceptance email from ACM.
  • You will be asked to complete the assignment of rights and permissions on our eRights form and it should state that your APC will be waived for this publication. If it doesn't, contact ACM about your eligibility.
  • Confirm your choices.
  • Your article will now be published open access!
