What is your guest policy?

Answer

Drexel students are permitted to bring up to two guests into the building with them, provided that the guest(s) provides a current ID and signs in with security upon entering the building. Guest(s) must stay with the Drexel affiliate who signed them in at all times. If they do not, action will be taken by public safety officers to remove them from the building. Guests are not permitted in the building during the finals week of each quarter.

Students from Temple University, Univ. of Pennsylvania, and the Univ. of Sciences are allowed in at any time during the libraries’ operating hours (with the exception of finals week) with their current student IDs, and do not need to be signed in by a current Drexel student.

Drexel Alumni are also allowed in at any time during the libraries’ operating hours (with the exception of finals week) and do not have to be signed in by a current Drexel student or affiliate. Alumni must always present their Alumni Card to security upon entering the building and will be asked to sign in. To obtain an Alumni Card, please visit the Alumni Office website.

Members of the public are permitted to enter the W.W. Hagerty library between 7:30am-5pm, Mondays through Fridays only, with the exception of finals weeks when only current faculty, staff, and students are permitted. Members of the public must present a current ID for security to hold on to while they are in the building and will be asked to sign in.
